DONATE The campaign successfully raised funds to help resist the appeal by the developer and now needs further funds to continue the fight. Read more about our fundraising here. Our JustGiving page has been retired for the time being. But you can donate by cheque payable to the Save the Cabinet Action Group, or by BACS (please email us for details). Or you can donate at one of our events such as a Pop-up Pub night. REPLY TO CONSULTATIONS The planning authority, North Herts District Council, often consults neighbours and interested parties on planning matters - as does the Planning Inspectorate. Please reply - the more responses are submitted the clearer the view of supporters will be. SPREAD THE WORD Our campaign depends on its supporters! Please “Like” us on Facebook, and follow us on Twitter, and share or retweet to all your friends. And even in these days of modern technology, word of mouth works too! PRACTICAL HELP If you can help with fundraising or by helping to organise events, please contact us. We always need help with organising, for example, Pup-up Pub nights, and even with delivering leaflets. COME TO OUR EVENTS The Action group has arranged a number of popular Pop-up Pub nights at Reed Village Hall, as well as other events. Please come to them - and dig deep - these are key sources of much-needed funds! ATTEND KEY MEETINGS Some 70 supporters attended the Council planning committee meeting in Letchworth in July 2017 - an excellent turnout. As many as 50 supporters turned out for the three-day Public Inquiry in November 2018 - also excellent. A show of support of this kind can genuinely sway meetings.
